Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Training
This is the fourth workshop in our series Your Passion, Your Leadership: A Workshop Series for Aspiring Women Advocates. We’ll discuss what it means to create advocacy spaces that are inclusive, equitable, and effective—while working toward a democracy that is open, just, resilient, and representative of all of us.
Your presenter will be Anna Adachi-Mejia,
PhD, CPCC
Anna is a creative coach, facilitator, and consultant who helps individuals and organizations bring their unique perspectives into the world. With over two decades of experience in nonprofits, she has served as a nonprofit executive director, trustee, and Associate Professor at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine.
As Principal of Adachi Labs, she leads workshops and coaching sessions focused on leadership, workplace culture, and equity. Anna is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and an Equity Leadership Fellow, and her work centers on helping people build stronger, more inclusive environments where everyone can thrive.
Your Passion, Your Leadership: A Workshop Series for Aspiring Women Advocates: In partnership with the League of Women Voters of New Hampshire, MomsRising, and Engage NH, this six-part workshop series will empower women in the Upper Valley to step into their power as leaders and advocates. Using the disproportionate impacts of HB 1569 on women’s right to vote as a central case study, the series will provide participants with the tools, skills, and confidence necessary to engage in effective advocacy. From understanding how power operates on a day-to-day basis in our communities, to mastering communications and social media, to managing volunteers and sharing success stories, each session is designed to strengthen women’s voices and build a more representative democracy.
