Gather with us at the Granite State Democracy Tour to increase your civics literacy. See the knitted State House made by N.H. citizens and craft doll people to populate it. Attend expert presentations on topics ranging from the electoral system to the spread of misinformation to current N.H. legislation affecting voting. Engage in conversation with the speakers and civics organizations. Listen to authors read children’s books about the mechanics of local and national government.
The tour includes:
- Speakers with deep knowledge about N.H. and U.S. electoral systems
- Opportunities for conversation with experts and fellow citizens
- Information tables from local civics education groups
- Children’s book authors reading aloud at two events
- Refreshments and a craft activity
