Join us Thursday night, June 25 at 7 pm for an Open Democracy Movie Night for Democracy feature presentation of "Rigged: The Voter Suppression Playbook."

As we fight our own battles here in New Hampshire for safe access to the polls during COVID-19, establishment of an independent redistricting commission, and veto after veto of reforms to make voting accessible, we invite you to join your fellow activists, voters and legislators for a virtual screening via Zoom of the new documentary, Rigged: The Voter Suppression Playbook. The film will be followed by a discussion in which you are invited to participate.

In this age of COVID-19 and growing false narrative over voter fraud, the need for audiences to see the award-winning documentary has never been greater -- nor more timely.  Rigged  chronicles how the right to vote is being undercut of a decade of dirty tricks - including the partisan use of gerrymandering and voter purges, and the gutting of the Voting Rights Act by the Supreme Court in 2013.  Incredibly, the film captures real time voter purges in North Carolina and voter intimidation in Texas.
