Meet our Board members, including election of new board members.  We will also share our many accomplishments and our campaigns to advance voting rights and campaign finance reform.

Our special guest speaker will be David Daley, author of Unrigged: How Americans Are Battling Back to Save Democracy.  David is former editor of Salon and a journalist rightly acclaimed for his 2016 book about the ruthless REDMAP redistricting project, Ratf**ked: Why Your Vote Doesn't Count.     

David is back now with a new book that is his answer to the “what can we do” question, Unrigged: How Americans Are Battling Back to Save Democracy. With stirring examples from around the country, he explains how citizens have fought back against attempts to shackle democracy and WON -- at exactly the time such efforts to rig the rules and suppress the vote are surging toward us again.  

The stories he tells of grassroots victories are uplifting and inspiring. They show how it can be done. And they provide the road map that we need right now, as we head into a perilous fall election season that will demand more of us than ever before. It’s a must-read for this moment.
