April 2 Rally

On Sunday, April 2, 2017 following “crossover day” in the legislature, Open Democracy will lead the NH March for Voting Rights from Concord High School to the State House. The 1.2 mile march through downtown Concord will bring together hundreds of concerned citizens and numerous advocacy organizations dedicated to our democracy. After the walk, we will hold a Rally at the State House featuring students, veterans, and other leaders. After the Rally we will have activist training sessions.

Rally speakers will include Niambi Mercado, Gilles Bissonnette, Ana Ford, Lew Feldstein, Gail Kinney, and Senator Dan Feltes , talking about the importance of our work on voting rights

The activist training includes breakout sessions on: Organizing 101; How to Lobby; The Power of Media; and much more!
