Granny D: The Power of One

On December 31, 1998, Doris Haddock, affectionately known as Granny D, set out to walk across America from California to Washington, DC.  She undertook this feat in order to draw attention to the need for national campaign finance reform.

Actress Dixie Tymitz, a professional actress, singer and storyteller, plays the character of Granny D and her incredible journey in this informative reenactment.

Granny D in the Schools is a joint project of Open Democracy/NH Rebellion and PACE (Promoting Active Civic Engagement).
