Granite Staters! Join community volunteers across your state to help NH high school students register to vote before they graduate next spring!

New Hampshire’s youth voter registration rate is far lower than in other parts of the country. At the beginning of 2024, roughly 9% of 18-year-olds in New Hampshire were registered to vote. Students can register to vote before their 18th birthday if their birthday comes before or on the next election day, meaning that almost all eligible high school seniors can register before graduation day. The school year will be here before you know it so RSVP for the event down below!
We are going to go over how to hold a high school voter registration event, what volunteers roles are throughout this process, and how you can get started with such an important initiative!
Register for this virtual 1-hour workshop on Wednesday, August 6th at 7:00 p.m. (ET) to learn how to encourage and empower students, educators, and other community volunteers to organize voter registration events for their schools and communities.
This workshop is hosted by The Civics Center and Open Democracy New Hampshire, two non-partisan, non-profit organizations that provide voter education and outreach to help high school students register to vote.
