On Tuesday, Nov. 12, the Carsey School of Public Policy will host Harvard Law professor, acclaimed author, and activist Lawrence Lessig. Lessig will discuss his most recent book, "They Don't Represent Us: Reclaiming Our Democracy."
Lawrence Lessig is the host of the podcast Another Way, and co-founder of Creative Commons open licensing system. He clerked for Judge Richard Posner on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and for Justice Antonin Scalia on the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the American Philosophical Society, and the author of twelve books, including "Republic, Lost: How Money Corrupts Congress-and a Plan to Stop It." He has spoken out about reforming the Electoral College and removing money from politics.
