Please join us for the fourth installment of our Open Democracy Book Club on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 7 pm Eastern time.  The book that has been chosen is "The Politics of Joy (and Sacrifice): The Fearless Walks and Historic Talks of Doris "Granny D" Haddock", a compilation of inspiring speeches given by Doris.   

The speeches were compiled by members of the Granny D Legacy Committee and edited by author Dennis Burke, who traveled with Doris and co-authored several books with her.  Dennis will join us for discussion during the first half hour of the event.
