Have you heard? The Congressional January 6 committee hearings will be broadcast nationally for the first time on Thursday, June 9, at 8pm. Join us in the Hayward Room at Dartmouth’s Hanover Inn as we raise awareness and create a groundswell of support for these crucial hearings .
Do you want to learn what really happened that fateful day in January and in the months leading up to and after it? I do. But make sure to come with an open mind. This watch event is non-partisan and sponsored by Public Citizen and Open Democracy. Their purpose is to elevate the importance of free and fair elections.
We’re honored to have Linda Fowler, Professor of Government and Frank J. Reagan Chair in Policies Studies, Emerita, and Russell Muirhead, Professor of Democracy and Politics at Dartmouth and a Representative to the NH House, giving opening remarks.
Seating in the Hayward Room at the Hanover Inn is limited to 75 people, so please RSVP. We will be creating a waiting list, if oversubscribed. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. We are not serving food, but water will be available. Thank you for joining your fellow citizens as we gain important insight into the findings of the bi-partisan US House Committee!
Please feel free to forward this invite to others you think may be interested in this event! Thank you –
